Publishing Your Children's Book Does Not Need to be Impossible

Getting published as a children's book author is not an easy task. It may be the dream of many, but only a few succeed in getting their book out there because no one gives away the secrets to how to become a published author. Book Publishers don't give it away, other authors don't, and the simple truth is that you have to find it all on your own.

Until now…The trick to getting published is knowing who to write for. Know your audience, know their desires and wishes, and if you so, know what the trends are right now. What might have sold ten years ago might not sell today. Book Publishing is difficult, but if you have the above information, you can craft your characters accordingly, make the plot go a certain way, and have the resolution end in a way that makes the current readers most happy. They're children; they want to be happy.

However, remember something: you are the writer, it is your story. If, for whatever reason, you can't succeed in getting a big publishing house to take your story, don't fret. There is the Self Publishing root in which you can get your book ready and prepared and if you can get the market, sold. It's cheaper, but the profits might not be as a great because big publishing houses give you a ton of money as advertising. These self publishing places don't. But, you get your book published and if you craft it right, you could have the success you want with your book.
